friends-instagram software package provides Social integration with the desktop - Instagram, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install friends-instagram
friends-instagram is installed in your system.
Make ensure the friends-instagram package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep friends-instagram *
You will get with friends-instagram package name, version, architecture and description in a table
